Patanjali Foods Reports Three-Fold Surge in Q1 Profit for FY 2024-25

Patanjali Foods announced a net profit of Rs 262.90 crore for Q1FY25, a significant increase from Rs 88 crore in the same quarter last year. The company also saw a twofold rise in EBITDA and continued expansion in domestic and global markets, including e-commerce channels.

Patanjali Foods has posted a net profit of Rs 262.90 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25, marking a substantial increase from Rs 88 crore in the corresponding period last year, according to an exchange filing by the company.

The company's standalone revenue for Q1FY25 amounted to Rs 7,173.06 crore. Its EBITDA saw a twofold rise, reaching Rs 435.08 crore year-on-year. Additionally, the EBITDA margin improved to 6.07 per cent, up from 5.08 per cent in the previous quarter.

The revenue from the Food & FMCG segment remained stable at Rs 1,953.55 crore. However, its contribution to total revenue increased to 26.77 per cent. Export revenue stood at Rs 53.33 crore, with the company's products now available in 22 countries and on global e-commerce platforms.

Patanjali Foods highlighted a robust quarter with stable edible oil prices and solid performance in the Food & FMCG sector. The company saw notable growth in its biscuit division, registering a 9.41 per cent increase in revenue to Rs 417.03 crore. The 'Doodh' biscuit brand also reported a 6.97 per cent rise in revenue year-on-year.
