Prasada also highlighted regular interactions with shipping lines, ports, terminal operators, and export/import associations for potential interventions. Additionally, the Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) has placed orders for containers from domestic manufacturers. The Minister also noted that the Startup India initiative has facilitated the creation of over 15.53 lakh direct jobs since its launch in 2016, recognizing 1,40,803 entities as startups as of June 2024.
