In a release on Friday, Air India stated that the integration will help optimize resources, enhance operational performance, and reduce aircraft turnaround times, ultimately bolstering on-time performance.
The combined strength is expected to ensure real-time availability of records for quick diagnostics and troubleshooting of technical issues. The economies of scale created will help in mobilizing resources and augmenting trained manpower to cater to the maintenance needs of the Group Carriers' fleet, including Air India Express.
