On August 8, 2024, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF), in collaboration with Hosiery Point, organized a significant aid event at an orphanage in Birsanagar Telco, Jamshedpur. The event aimed to bring warmth and care to the children residing there.

Organized by Ankush Modi, the volunteer team included Pinky Mishra, Dipika, Munmum Chakraborty, Raja, Santosh Ray, and Malakar. They arrived with essential supplies and recreational items, providing much-needed comfort and joy to the children. The aid materials included rice, lentils, potatoes, spices, biscuits, noodles, and tea for daily needs, along with badminton sets, cricket kits, and handballs for recreational activities.

The volunteers engaged deeply with the children, encouraging their aspirations and playing various games with them. The beneficiaries, 16 girls from the orphanage, and their head, Acharya Didi, expressed profound gratitude. She noted that the supplies and care not only met practical needs but also conveyed societal love and warmth.

As the event ended, volunteers pledged to participate in future charitable activities, reflecting on the positive impact of collective effort. The event underscored that small acts of kindness could create significant warmth for those in need.
