Automobili Lamborghini has set its sights on significant growth in the Indian market, driven by a young customer base and a booming economy. According to Francesco Scardaoni, Lamborghini's Asia Pacific Region Director, the luxury automaker sold 103 units in India in 2023, setting a new record. The company aims to reach 150 units annually by 2026.

India, currently ranked 14th globally and sixth in the Asia Pacific in terms of volume, is the fastest-growing market for Lamborghini. The global sales of Lamborghini crossed the 10,000 unit mark in 2023, and the sales trend appears promising for 2024 as well.

With India being a hotspot for start-ups and its customers being among the youngest in the world, Scardaoni is optimistic about India's potential to climb the ranks in the Asia Pacific market. The development of new highways and infrastructure is also expected to enhance the super sports car market in the country.
