Niti Aayog Calls for Proposals to Evaluate Centrally Sponsored Schemes
Niti Aayog has announced a call for proposals to evaluate centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) across nine sectors, including health, agriculture, and education. Each sector requires a separate application through the GeM portal. Centrally sponsored schemes are funded by the central government and implemented by state governments to supplement their efforts. The government's think tank, Niti Aayog, is inviting proposals to evaluate centrally sponsored schemes across nine crucial sectors such as health, agriculture, and education.
According to the Aayog, each sector requires a separate submission through the GeM portal.
The nine CSS packages cover sectors including agriculture, women and child development, education, and rural development, among others.
Centrally sponsored schemes are financed by the central government but executed by state governments. These initiatives aim to enhance state efforts by providing federal resources.
The deadline for submitting the request for proposal (RFP) is August 30, 2024.
