Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared he would soon introduce a five-year plan to extricate Pakistan from its economic turmoil, emphasizing self-reflection to rectify past errors. His address coincided with Pakistan's 78th Independence Day.
Sharif pledged to work tirelessly to curb inflation and lower electricity costs, crucial for agricultural and industrial growth and export enhancements. "Self-introspection is vital," he noted, hinting that upcoming announcements would bring good news for citizens.
Sharif urged youth to focus on education and skills while steering clear of chaos and misinformation. Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari called for national unity, economic stability, and support for the people of Kashmir and Palestine, reaffirming the government's commitment to democracy and rule of law.
