Tragic Crash on Ludhiana-Jalandhar Road Leaves One Dead, 14 Injured

A tragic accident on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar main road left one person dead and 14 others injured, police reported Tuesday. The incident occurred when the attendants of a tourist bus were changing its rear tire after a puncture.
The bus was traveling from Haridwar to Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Davinder Chaudhary confirmed that the injured were rushed to Ludhiana's civil hospital. One passenger, Suresh Kumar (40) from Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir, was declared dead upon arrival by doctors.
Four seriously injured individuals have been referred to PGIMER in Chandigarh for further treatment. Investigations into the accident are ongoing, ACP Chaudhary added.
