Tragic Collision on Varanasi-Kanpur Highway Claims Two Lives
A fatal accident occurred on the Varanasi-Kanpur highway when a truck hit a car, killing two men, Vivek Singh and Dhruv Raj Singh, and injuring two others. The mishap happened near Samsapur village. The victims were returning home when they were struck by the truck late Thursday night.

In a tragic road accident, two individuals lost their lives when a truck reportedly collided with their car on the Varanasi-Kanpur highway, as confirmed by police on Friday.
Officials revealed that the incident took place late Thursday night near Samsapur village, approximately 75 km from Pratapgarh district headquarters. Additional Superintendent of Police (Western) Sanjay Rai identified the deceased as Vivek Singh, 32, from Chak Niratul, Prayagraj, and Dhruv Raj Singh, 39, from Khajura, Azamgarh.
Following the accident, four occupants of the car, including a child, were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Tragically, despite efforts by doctors, both Vivek and Dhruv were pronounced dead, while the remaining two victims were treated and subsequently discharged. The pair was reportedly traveling home from Kanpur at the time of the crash.
