Nirani Sugars Launches Eco-Friendly Manufacturing Hub in Bagalkot

Nirani Sugars announced on Wednesday an agreement with the Karnataka government to set up a Polylactic Acid manufacturing plant in Bagalkot, investing Rs 2,000 crore in the project.
The facility, expected to be operational within 3-5 years, will create between 600 and 800 direct jobs. The company, led by Director Vishal Nirani, expressed enthusiasm for aligning with Karnataka's sustainable industrial initiatives.
The government of Karnataka commits to facilitating permits and incentives, enhancing the project's execution. Polylactic Acid, sourced from renewable resources, serves as an eco-friendly polymer vital to modern industries like packaging and textiles.
