Titagarh Rail Systems Lands Rs 537.11 Crore Contract with Adani Subsidiaries

Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (TRSL) announced on Friday that it has achieved a milestone by securing a lucrative Rs 537.11 crore contract from Adani Cement subsidiaries, Ambuja Cements Ltd and ACC Ltd. This contract highlights the company's growing influence in the rail manufacturing sector and its capability to meet high-value orders.
The agreement involves the production and supply of 16 rakes of specialised freight wagons, including bogie covered fly ash/cement wagons and bogie brake van type wagons. These wagons are specifically designed to optimise the transportation of bulk materials such as fly ash and cement, aligning with the operational needs of Adani's logistics chain.
According to a statement, the delivery of these wagons is scheduled between January 2026 and March 2027. Anil Kumar Agarwal, Deputy Managing Director of TRSL, emphasized the company's commitment to India's infrastructure growth through innovative solutions that promote cost-effective and sustainable logistics. Titagarh Rail's stock closed down 5.85% on Friday at Rs 800.45 per share on the NSE.
