Flights have resumed at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport after a significant Ukrainian drone attack on the city led to a temporary suspension, the Russian aviation authority Rosaviatsia announced on Tuesday.

Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, stated that Russian air defences managed to fend off what he described as the largest drone assault Moscow has endured.

The Russian defence ministry reported that air defence units successfully destroyed 337 Ukrainian drones overnight, with 91 intercepted over the Moscow region.
