Executives from Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and JetBlue Airways are scheduled to speak at an event on Thursday. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy will present the detailed proposal to Congress during the event.

The event is also expected to draw relatives of victims from a tragic mid-air collision that claimed 67 lives near Reagan Washington airport earlier this year, serving as a somber reminder of the urgent need for improvements in air traffic safety and efficiency.
