New Flight Routes Elevate Assam's Air Connectivity
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced new flight services connecting Jorhat to Delhi, and Guwahati to Dibrugarh and Silchar starting September. Additionally, Guwahati will connect to Navi Mumbai later this year. Indigo will operate all these routes, enhancing air connectivity in Assam.

In a significant boost to Assam's air connectivity, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed on Tuesday that flights between Jorhat and Delhi, along with new morning services from Guwahati to Dibrugarh and Silchar, will launch in September.
This expansion includes a future Guwahati-Navi Mumbai route, anticipated for late 2023, to be operated by Indigo, pending the readiness of Navi Mumbai's airport.
Indigo used social media to share the announcement, expressing excitement about collaborating with government officials to launch these vital connections for the region.
