Bolstering Bonds: Singapore and IndiGo Join Forces to Elevate Tourism

The Singapore Tourism Board and IndiGo have signed a memorandum to enhance tourism between Singapore and India. The year-long collaboration marks the first such agreement with an Indian airline and aims to promote Singapore as a prominent destination. Over 270 weekly flights now bridge Singapore with 15 Indian cities.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Indian carrier IndiGo have inked a deal to enhance travel and tourism between their countries, strengthening Singapore's position as a prime destination.

Targeting Indian travelers, the partnership leverages IndiGo's network to push the island-city forward as a leisure and business hotspot. India remains a top three source of visitors to Singapore, and in early 2025 alone, over half a million Indian visitors were recorded, demonstrating the market's importance.

This landmark agreement positions STB and IndiGo for growth, especially in 2025, a year marking 60 years of India-Singapore relations. IndiGo also plans to unveil a business class segment, IndiGoStretch, on select routes, boosting connectivity just in time for Singapore's National Day.
