In a significant move to enhance its port operations, APM Terminals Pipavav has inked contracts with L&T Geostructure and Van Oord India. This strategic collaboration will see the construction of a specialized liquid jetty at the port, poised to revolutionize its cargo handling capabilities.
The new jetty, a key component of the port's expansion plan, is set to improve service reliability and cement the facility's status as a critical maritime hub. It also underscores the port's commitment to bolstering regional economic development by creating employment opportunities and attracting industrial investments to the Pipavav Port corridor.
Girish Aggarwal, Managing Director of APM Terminals Pipavav, highlighted the alignment of this project with the vision established during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, noting the role of the Gujarat Maritime Board in advancing the state's maritime infrastructure.
