Revving Up Auto LPG: A Call for Rapid Registration in Bengaluru

The Indian Auto LPG Coalition has urged the Karnataka Transport Secretary to implement swifter registration policies for Automotive Liquefied Petroleum Gas vehicles in Bengaluru. Highlighting its environmental and economic benefits, the coalition believes faster registration will improve urban air quality and reduce operational hardships for drivers.

The Indian Auto LPG Coalition (IAC) has requested Karnataka's Transport Secretary N V Prasad to adopt a more inclusive and expedited registration policy for Automotive Liquefied Petroleum Gas (ALPG) in Bengaluru.

IAC, the key proponent for Auto LPG adoption in India, emphasizes that the current slow registration pace hampers both drivers and the broader ecosystem.

Suyash Gupta, IAC's Director General, advocates for ALPG due to its reduced emissions of harmful pollutants and its cost-effectiveness, urging quicker policy adaptations for the environmental and economic benefit of Bengaluru's public and drivers.
