American Airlines has significantly reduced the number of its A320 family aircraft requiring updates after further discussions with Airbus. Originally, more than 340 were affected, but this number has now dropped to 209.
As of now, there are fewer than 150 aircraft left to be updated. The airline anticipates the majority of these updates to be completed by the end of today, with only a few remaining for completion the following day.
