On Monday, Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) unveiled plans for a new 72-key Mercure hotel in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, as part of its strategic partnership with Accor and InterGlobe. This addition is part of a master franchise arrangement, aiming to cater to the burgeoning demands of the Haridwar SIDCUL industrial area.
According to Sidharth Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of THV, the rapid growth in the industrial region has significantly increased the need for dependable mid-market hotels. Through the alliance with Accor and the Mercure brand, the initiative promises to deliver a blend of warm hospitality and Treebo's signature operational efficiency.
Reflecting on the partnership, Accor South Asia CEO Ranju Alex expressed enthusiasm for launching Mercure in Haridwar with THV. The introduction is set to capitalize on SIDCUL's robust business potential. Alex highlighted Mercure's dedication to locally-inspired, midscale hospitality as a perfect fit for the region's business and leisure travelers.
