In an effort to tackle the issue of counterfeiting within the supply chain, Jindal Stainless has unveiled a new programme aimed at bolstering product authenticity. This announcement was made through a company statement highlighting the initiative's objectives.
According to Jindal Stainless Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal, 'Counterfeit materials don't just undermine consumer trust, they damage the sector's credibility and weaken the nation's development.' The new initiative, called JSL Saathi Pragati, is aimed at empowering fabricators and retailers by encouraging genuine product promotion and ensuring safety.
The programme offers rewards for promoting product authenticity and includes accidental life insurance for registered fabricators, enhancing their safety. This step not only brings assurance to stakeholders but also focuses on skill development within the stainless steel fabrication community, a testament to Jindal Stainless' dedication to industry advancement.
