The Bihar government unveiled plans to establish three new departments on Friday, aimed at fostering employment growth among the state's youth. The new departments, including Youth, Employment and Skill Development, Higher Education, and Civil Aviation, are poised to provide fresh opportunities for skill development and job creation.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting the initiative's goals on social media, emphasized the ambitious target of creating one crore jobs by 2030. The Higher Education Department will focus on qualitative educational enhancements to equip youth with vocational and technical skills crucial for employment.
The expansion in civil aviation, supported by the UDAN scheme, promises new infrastructure, industrial growth, and export capabilities. Additionally, the establishment of a directorate for MSMEs and the Bihar Marketing Promotion Corporation aims to bolster local industries and agriculture, further augmenting employment prospects.
