IndiGo has announced the resumption of nine of its 11 flights from Jammu Airport, bringing relief to travellers previously stranded by cancellations. However, the airline was forced to cancel seven flights from Srinagar due to pilot-rostering issues affecting operations nationwide.

The disruptions at Srinagar International Airport aggravated the travel woes of passengers, with officials confirming that a total of eight flights were cancelled on Saturday. Out of 36 scheduled operations, 18 were intended to arrive and 18 to depart, leaving many disappointed and searching for alternatives.

Passengers shared their frustrations over the chaos. Rajni Goyal, heading back to Delhi, experienced severe inconvenience due to repeated cancellations, while Kashish expressed concern over the uncertainty despite partial service restoration. The situation led to soaring fares on alternative airlines and fully booked trains, leaving passengers stranded and frustrated.
