IndiGo, the airline grappling with operational issues, has proclaimed the stabilization of its services, announcing that flights are back on schedule and customer needs are being addressed. CEO Peter Elbers, in a recent video message, mentioned that the majority of customers who faced cancellations or delays have received full refunds.
While clarity on compensation for last-minute cancellations remains vague, Elbers emphasized compliance with the Civil Aviation Ministry's passenger charter, which mandates compensation. He expressed remorse, stating, "IndiGo is back on its feet, and our operations are stable. We've let you down when a major operational disruption happened, and we're sorry for that."
Continuing efforts to rectify the situation, IndiGo has restored its network to nearly full capacity, aiming to deliver a seamless travel experience. The carrier's flight numbers have steadily increased, boasting a significant recovery across its 138 destinations, with on-time performance returning to standard.
