The state of Tamil Nadu has recorded remarkable economic progress, hitting double-digit growth due to significant job creation driven by infrastructure projects, as noted by Minister Thangam Thennarasu on Saturday.
Addressing an event, Thennarasu, who oversees Finance and Environment in the state, urged the private sector to enhance its participation in sustaining this growth trajectory.
Highlighting a case in point, he mentioned the inauguration of Vels Trade and Convention Centre by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, marking a significant private investment contributing to the state's economy. Although Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was unable to attend, actor Kamal Haasan noted Chennai's pivotal role in Pan-India cinema.
