India has seen a notable rise in exports to China, particularly driven by petroleum products and electronic goods. This trend is helping to address the substantial trade deficit of about USD 100 billion with China, as revealed by commerce ministry data.

Between April and November 2025, India's exports to China increased by 32.83% year-on-year, climbing from USD 9.20 billion to USD 12.22 billion. Petroleum products emerged as the primary export contributor, followed by electronic goods, marine products, and oil meals.

This surge underscores the strengthening trade momentum between the two countries, supported by heightened demand across crucial commodity sectors, officials stated.
