Amar Pure Gold, a leading frozen food manufacturer, has announced a major initiative in Himachal Pradesh by securing a memorandum of commitment with the state government to develop an agro-food park. The project involves a substantial investment of Rs 250 crore.
The planned facility will occupy 100 acres in Una district, promising to generate 450 direct jobs. This development is also set to boost indirect employment opportunities in sectors such as agricultural sourcing, logistics, and packaging. The company's statement highlighted the positive economic impact on the region.
Amar Pure Gold specializes in producing frozen Indian sweets, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals and already operates manufacturing units across Punjab and Haryana. With its sights set on expansion, the company plans to set up additional facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while continuing to export globally, reaching markets in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and beyond.
