In a grand recognition of India's burgeoning startup ecosystem, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with entrepreneurs at Bharat Mandapam on Friday, celebrating National Startup Day and a decade of the Startup India initiative. The event underscored the transition of Indian startups from a supportive policy environment to a global innovation hub.

Entrepreneurs lauded governmental support as a pivotal factor in their growth stories. Aishwarya Karnataki, CEO of Glovatrix, credited significant government-backed non-dilutive grants for her AI-powered glove enterprise, which aids the speech-impaired. Her interaction with Modi, filled with encouragement, epitomized the backing startups receive in India.

Samuel John, CEO of mistEO, compared India's ecosystem to global standards, emphasizing the superior support available domestically. With successful collaborations like those with the Indian Air Force, John highlighted the importance of 'building for India,' and the need for patient capital to propel the next decade of tech innovation.
