VPRPL Successfully Completes Silchar Water Supply Project, Boosts Urban Infrastructure

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited completed the Silchar Water Supply Project in Assam, marking a significant milestone in its urban infrastructure endeavors. Executed for the AUWSSB under the AMRUT Mission, the project highlights VPRPL's commitment to timely delivery and operational effectiveness across India's infrastructure sectors.

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited, one of India's premier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms, has concluded the Silchar 24x7 Water Supply Project in Assam, a venture under the AMRUT Mission. The project, valued at approximately ₹177.47 crore, was undertaken for the Assam Urban Water Supply & Sewerage Board.

The comprehensive infrastructure includes intake systems, a water treatment plant, and a robust distribution network, incorporating PLC-SCADA automation. With the water supply initiated on March 1, 2024, the project was partially inaugurated by Assam's Hon'ble Chief Minister, earning the executing authority's certificate of satisfaction.

This achievement fortifies VPRPL's reputation in urban water infrastructure and substantial EPC projects. The company's CEO, Manohar Lal Punglia, emphasized their proficiency in managing complex projects and aligning them with long-term national infrastructure goals, maintaining focus on efficiency and selective bidding.
