Shopsy's Grand Sale: Boosting Commerce Beyond Metros

Shopsy by Flipkart has marked significant success in its latest Grand Shopsy Mela, expanding the reach of e-commerce into smaller towns. The sale saw around 60% of orders emanating from Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns, demonstrating the platform's strong penetration beyond metro cities.

The East region emerged as the primary market, with cities like Cuttack, Medinipur, and Ranchi contributing heavily to order volumes. Repeat shoppers accounted for approximately 90% of total buyers, indicating high consumer trust and loyalty to the platform.

Gen Z and Millennials were pivotal to the sale's growth, making up a combined 85% of buyers. Shopsy continues to deepen its presence across underserved markets, further democratizing e-commerce in India.
