The study, based on data from April to September 2025, highlights an education check discrepancy of 2.93%. It points out widespread issues with fake certificates and degrees from blacklisted institutions, pressing the need for a more rigorous verification process.

AuthBridge CEO Ajay Trehan emphasizes the urgency for BFSI institutions to fortify their digital and address verification frameworks. As digital banking and fintech partnerships surge, the sector must enhance its verification strategies to keep pace with rapid hiring trends.
