In a heartfelt plea, the bereaved families of the Air India crash victims have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release the cockpit voice recorder and black box data of the ill-fated flight AI 171.

This comes ten months after the tragic crash of the Boeing 787-8 aircraft killed 260 individuals, including 19 on the ground, upon take-off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

The families demand clarity over the incident's cause, highlighting issues in recovering personal belongings and the lack of institutional support they have faced. The final investigation report is awaited.
