VFS Global Secures Five-Year Deal for Digitizing Maharashtra's Property Registrations

VFS Global has announced a landmark five-year contract secured in collaboration with WE Excel Software, to set up 60 model Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) in Maharashtra. This venture is aimed at revolutionizing property registration processes by introducing state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and well-trained service teams.

The initiative, endorsed by the Inspector General of Registration, Ravindra Binwade, seeks to resolve existing bottlenecks in property registration. It ensures strict government control over these new facilities to maintain regulatory standards and reduce congestion common in current office setups.

Additionally, VFS Global highlights the project's potential to stimulate the local economy by generating new employment and fostering skilled workforce development across Maharashtra, ultimately offering citizens the choice between modernized services or traditional registration processes.
