Arunachal Pradesh Commerce and Industries Minister Nyato Dukam has reaffirmed the government's resolve to transform the northeastern state into an industrial powerhouse. The announcement was made during the inauguration of 'Tulang,' a new edible oil extraction and production unit in Pasighat, East Siang district.

Addressing the gathering, Dukam highlighted the state government's strategy under Chief Minister Pema Khandu to foster industrial growth. 'Tulang,' as part of Elam Industries, aims to supply pure mustard and sesame oil to the region with a daily production capacity of 200 liters.

Local MLA Tapi Darang stated that the unit would create a reliable market for oilseed farmers while generating employment for local youth, thus contributing to the region's socio-economic development.
