In a tragic incident, five railway staff members were injured in Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh, when their van overturned on Sunday. The team was en route to attend to a blaze that had erupted in a coach of the Delhi-bound Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express.

The van carrying essential repair equipment met with an accident after a cow wandered onto the road unexpectedly. This mishap resulted in critical injuries to one staff member, while four others sustained less severe injuries. The personnel have since been transported to a hospital in Kota, Rajasthan, for further treatment.

The fire, which broke out in the early hours between Vikramgarh Alot and Lunirichha stations, halted multiple train operations on the busy Mumbai-Delhi route. Officials confirmed that no casualties occurred from the fire itself.
