In an effort to promote public transport, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has announced special bus services for Delhi government employees. The buses will operate between residential areas and the nearest metro stations, facilitating easy travel to the Delhi Secretariat.

This initiative is part of a broader campaign, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, to encourage public transport use amid uncertainties in fuel supply from West Asia. The 90-day 'Mera Bharat, Mera Yogdan' campaign also includes a two-day work-from-home policy for government employees.

The DTC will deploy 54 buses for the service, including eco-friendly DEVI electric buses, to cover residential areas such as the CWG Village complex, Vasant Kunj, and others. The bus services will run during peak office hours, enhancing connectivity for government officials.
