Philips, a global health technology leader, has announced a strategic partnership with Bajaj Integrated Health System (BIHS), part of the Bajaj Group, to establish a digitally connected care network throughout India. This collaboration aims to elevate patient experiences, improve care quality, and broaden healthcare access by facilitating seamless data flow across different care environments.
The initiative will leverage Philips' IntelliBridge Enterprise (IBE), a data integration platform, to unify patient data from various medical devices and hospital systems into a comprehensive view. This advancement is set to empower authorized care teams with faster, well-informed decision-making capabilities across the healthcare spectrum, thereby optimizing care coordination and minimizing redundant processes.
Bharath Sesha, Managing Director of Philips Indian Subcontinent, emphasized the partnership's significance, highlighting the company's role in pioneering connected care and interoperability solutions globally. Simultaneously, Nirav Bajaj, CEO of BIHS, remarked on the critical need for a cohesive healthcare infrastructure in India.
