Transforming Education: Corporate Partnership Revamps Kannagi Nagar School

Bounteous x Accolite, in collaboration with Ladies Circle India Trust, renovated a government higher secondary school in Kannagi Nagar. The project addressed major issues including insufficient furniture, poor electrical fixtures, and provided modern computer labs. The initiative aimed to benefit 1,500 students and set a precedent for community involvement.

Bounteous x Accolite, a global powerhouse in information technology services, has joined forces with Circle India Trust, an NGO, to revamp a government higher secondary school in Kannagi Nagar.

Previously beleaguered by a lack of furniture and faulty electrical installations, the school now boasts new benches, desks, green boards, and a compound wall, thanks to this partnership. Additionally, the introduction of 12 laptops and 26 desktops has modernized the school’s computer lab, setting the stage for academic excellence for the 1,500 students enrolled.

Speaking at the inauguration, Bounteous x Accolite Founder and Co-CEO Leela Kaza highlighted, ''This initiative at GHSS Kannagi Nagar underscores the potential for corporate partnerships to drive meaningful change in educational institutions, setting a positive example for community involvement and social responsibility.'' Former Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu officially opened the renovated school building, marking a new chapter in the school's history.
