Tragic Incident: Student Found Dead, Two Missing After Flooding in Delhi Coaching Centre

A tragic incident occurred in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, where a flooding in the basement of a civil service coaching centre claimed the life of one student, while two others remain missing. The Delhi Fire Department responded promptly, and the rescue operation is ongoing.

In a tragic incident on Saturday evening, a student was found dead and two others went missing after the basement of a building housing a popular civil service coaching centre flooded due to heavy rainfall in Old Rajinder Nagar, central Delhi.

The Delhi Fire Department (DFS) received a distress call about waterlogging from Rau's IAS Study Circle at approximately 7 pm. Officials confirmed that five fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation. The basement was reported to be fully inundated.

The lifeless body of a female student was recovered by the joint efforts of the NDRF, local police, and fire department rescue teams. Despite extensive efforts, two students are still unaccounted for, and rescue operations are ongoing.
