PSEB Chairperson Resigns, Education Secretary Assumes Charge

Satbir Bedi has resigned from her role as the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) chairperson. The Punjab government has given the charge to the education secretary. Appointed on February 18, 2023, Bedi is a former IAS officer and has also chaired the National Council for Teacher Education.

Satbir Bedi, the chairperson of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), has resigned from her position, according to an official statement released on Tuesday.

In the wake of Bedi's resignation, the Punjab government has assigned the responsibilities of the PSEB chairperson to the education secretary.

Bedi, a former IAS officer, was appointed to the PSEB chairperson role on February 18, 2023, and has previously served as the chairperson of the National Council for Teacher Education.
