Controversy Unfolds: Calls for Exam Cancellation Amid Allegations

In a recent development, BJP MP and Bar Council of India president Manan Kumar Mishra criticized the state's handling of the situation involving Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examinees. On Thursday, he called for the cancellation of exams in Patna following allegations of leaked question papers.

Mishra, representing Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, urged the alliance government to address the examinees' legitimate concerns peacefully instead of resorting to forceful measures. He suggested that the state government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, should engage in dialogue to defuse the escalating crisis.

Amid these events, Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraaj, launched a fast unto death to emphasize the demand for the examination's annulment. The controversy spurred by the alleged leaks, despite strong denials and claims of conspiracies by the BPSC, has highlighted tensions within the state education sector.
