Delhi Students Embark on German Vocational Journey
Fourteen students from Delhi government schools will pursue vocational education in Germany under the APAL Project 2025. In a significant stride for educational opportunities, fourteen students from Delhi's government schools have been selected to further their studies in Germany, thanks to the APAL Project 2025. This initiative is spearheaded by the Federal Employment Agency of Germany.
The selection was celebrated in a ceremony at the Delhi Secretariat, where Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised the students for their remarkable determination and grit, emphasizing the government's commitment to providing equal opportunities for all, especially for students from economically weaker sections.
Education Minister Ashish Sood highlighted the importance of the APAL Project during his speech, noting its alignment with India's 'Skill India' initiative. The programme offers students a blend of classroom learning and practical industrial experience, setting them up for successful careers in relevant fields upon completion of their training in Germany.
