Great Learning, an edtech firm, has announced a remarkable threefold increase in operating profit, reaching Rs 40 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. This follows last year's Rs 14 crore operating profit.
Focusing on sustained growth and innovation, the company achieved a 191% year-over-year increase in operating profit. Revenue rose to Rs 1,039 crore, a 5% uplift from the previous year. The global demand for AI-driven professional upskilling was a significant growth driver in FY25.
Partnering with prestigious institutions like IIT Bombay and Johns Hopkins University, Great Learning expanded its portfolio, launching new certificates in artificial intelligence. Edtech veteran Mohan Lakhamraju highlighted the vital role of innovation and AI integration in attaining two consecutive years of profitability. Since its acquisition by Think & Learn, Great Learning has operated as an independent entity, offering over 1,750 programs in AI and digital business leadership.
