Revamping India's Education with Tradition and Innovation: A Bold Vision

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan outlined the National Education Policy's (NEP-2020) aim to integrate Indian ethos into education, leveraging artificial intelligence. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan underscored the transformative objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) toward embedding Indian ethos in education, shifting away from its Macaulay-era legacy. Speaking at a Bhopal workshop, Pradhan highlighted integrating traditional educational systems with artificial intelligence to enhance India's global cultural and knowledge standing.

Pradhan praised Madhya Pradesh for its historical significance in scientific and spiritual learning, while Governor Mangubhai Patel lauded the NEP as a visionary path for India's education. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav affirmed the state's forefront position in NEP-2020's implementation, through both academic reforms and skill development initiatives.

The workshop addressed education in holistic development, urging community participation and innovation. Educational institutions are called to emphasize AI-based skills and accountability. Madhya Pradesh has initiated Sandipani Schools and Excellence Colleges, promoting 21st-century capabilities and integrated learning, marking significant strides toward educational transformation.
