The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department has published the admission schedule for the 2026–27 academic year, ensuring a 25% reservation in private schools according to the RTE Act-2009. An online portal will manage the entire admission process for transparency.

To implement the schedule, District and Block Education Officers have been tasked with completing admissions within set timeframes. Schools must update the admission status on the portal, and three phases of the process have been outlined—from February 2 to 16, February 21 to March 7, and March 12 to 25.

Applicants must submit various documents, including Aadhaar and birth certificates. The government will subsidize education fees for enrolled children to uphold social justice, ensuring equal educational opportunities for financially disadvantaged groups, according to Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh.
