Empowering Weaker Sections: Andhra Pradesh's Micro Entrepreneurial Revolution

Facilities in welfare institutions will improve with initiatives like RO plant installations and enhanced student support, focusing on health and education enhancements across the state.

In a move to empower weaker sections of society, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to devise a strategic action plan aimed at transforming these communities into thriving micro-entrepreneurs.
During a recent meeting, Naidu emphasized the importance of enhancing infrastructure in welfare institutions, particularly urging the installation of RO drinking water plants in residential schools and hostels to ensure basic amenities are met.
Naidu's administration is committing Rs 17 crore to install these systems in over 800 BC welfare hostels by March. Additionally, Rs 60 crore will be allocated for constructing welfare schools and hostels, alongside initiatives to upgrade Mahatma Jyotirao Phule schools and establish BC residential schools in every constituency, thereby strengthening educational services for disadvantaged students.
