Yogi Adityanath Urges Para-Teachers for Constructive Approach

In a significant move to reshape the approach of para-teachers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of constructive dialogue over confrontation at a ‘Siksha Mitra Samman Samaroh’ in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. Outlining his government's efforts in increasing para-teachers' honorarium, Adityanath criticized previous administrations for mishandling teachers' designations and emphasized the need for a positive mindset in education.
Adityanath noted that the para-teachers' honorarium had gradually increased from Rs 3,500 to Rs 18,000 under his administration, emphasizing the crucial role teachers play in building the nation. He cautioned against adopting trade union-style tactics, urging educators to avoid actions that could inadvertently harm society by prioritizing demands over national interest.
Highlighting improvements in Uttar Pradesh's education sector, the CM pointed out past inadequacies in infrastructure and student welfare. He celebrated the 'School Chalo Abhiyan' as a successful initiative that enrolled more than 20 lakh children. Adityanath underscored the necessity of providing consistent educational resources to support every child's right to education while addressing the challenge of school dropouts.
