In Ranchi, a storm of protests erupted as the All India Students' Association (AISA) spotlighted alleged misconduct surrounding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leaks. Echoing demands for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, the protest underscored a widespread clamor for reform in India's examination system.

AISA, aligned with the Left, criticized the National Testing Agency (NTA)'s handling of NEET and other exams, urging its dissolution. Protestors advocated for a transparent, independent body to oversee exams, raising concerns over the impact of alleged malpractice on nearly 22.79 lakh candidates across over 500 centers.

The government canceled the NEET held on May 3, igniting debates over the integrity of educational evaluations. The call for a judicial inquiry grew louder, with demands for the accountability of high-profile officials in the education ministry, emphasizing an urgent need for systemic reform.
