In a motivational speech at Ahmedabad University's 16th annual convocation, Sajjan Jindal, Chairperson of the JSW Group, urged graduates to seize India's development journey as an opportunity. He emphasized the need to bridge the economic gap with China, noting India's rapid growth and large population.

Jindal described India as a mission, not a market, highlighting the significant economic potential that remains untapped. He urged the Class of 2026 to contribute to the nation's growth, leveraging their education to bridge the economic disparities with India’s neighbor.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 669 undergraduates, 241 masters, and 13 doctoral graduates. Five students received gold medals for academic excellence, with Moksh Shah delivering the valedictorian address. Jindal underscored that education equips graduates with more than academic qualifications—it's a gateway to innovation and intellectual curiosity.
