The first New Age Tech Skills Centre in the Northeast region was inaugurated in Mizoram's capital, Aizawl. This significant development was officially launched by Mizoram's education official Vanlalthlana, marking a major step forward for educational advancement in the area.
Established at the Government Comprehensive Model School, the centre results from a collaborative effort involving Bharat Forge Limited and SimuSoft Technologies, supported by the School Education Department. The facility aims to equip students with knowledge in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things, among other modern technologies.
This move aligns with India's National Education Policy 2020, focusing on merging classroom learning with practical, industry-relevant skills to prepare the youth for future professional challenges.
