​A ​fire ‌broke out at ​a primary school in ‌northern Tokyo on Friday, with rescue work underway, Japanese broadcaster ‌NTV reported.

The fire ‌likely started in the music room on the ⁠fourth floor ​of ⁠the school, and dozens of ⁠fire trucks have been deployed, ​the report said. Three students ⁠have been rescued so far, ⁠the ​report said, adding that it was ⁠not immediately clear whether there ⁠are ⁠any casualties.
